The 2005 GMC Denali is GMC’s version of the General Motors SUVs along with Chevrolet and Cadillac nameplates.  Among the different models they have, the Denali is the luxury version.  It is smaller than the largest SUVs, yet indisputably full sized –just right for families that have something to tow.

Seating capacity of the car is up to nine persons with 3-rows of seats, and this is optional.   The third row folds, flips, slides or can be easily removed to suit your needs.  The second row bucked seats offers excellent support and can be adjusted individually.  The Denali will fit into a garage more easily than a Suburban or even an Expedition, both of which are much longer.

The 2005 GMC Denali sports a V8 engine capable of 325 horsepower and a torque of 370 lb/ft.  The downside to this power is that you only get around at 12 mpg around the city and a lousy 16 mpg on the highway.  But, with gas prices continuing to drop, that shouldn’t be a big problem anymore.

It also has automatic transmission with GM’s tow or haul mode.  Denalis include all wheel drive without low range gearing.  It also has advance braking system that works well.  You can be assured of a nice ride and it handles well on gravel, rugged-two tracks, mud and snow.  It also has GM’s Quadrasteer 4-wheel steering, which reduces the turning circle at low speeds and is designed to enhance stability at higher speeds and when towing.

Safety is enhanced by a tire-pressure monitor and sophisticated Hydroboost brakes and GM’s Stabilitrak antiskid system.  Further, the car has a power-adjustable pedal and a multi-zone automatic climate system with front or rear controls.  Optional feature is an audio or navigation system which has a control touch screen.

The Denali is a luxury version that adds a sumptuous, comfortable and convenient interior.  The leather upholstery looks and feels fine.  The shoulder harnesses fit well and are easy to wear because they are mounted on the seats.  Up front, all the switchgear and ancillary controls are mounted close to the driver.  The Denali also boasts of a Bose nine-speaker stereo with subwoofer and an external antenna for improved radio reception.

The 2005 GMC Yukon Denali is by far one of the coolest vehicles to modify.  You can get a custom grill, custom wheels even custom doors!  It is a unique and desirable vehicle offering power, luxury and prestige.
