First off, is the 2005 gmc yukon denali a truck or an suv? Well, technically it is built off of a truck frame, as are most suvs, but I would definitely classify the yukon denali as an suv. That being said, what is the difference between the 2005 gmc yukon denali and the non denali version? Well, it does have a different grill, comes with leather seats, and some other custom trimming. But remember like I said, the differences in the 2005 gmc yukon denali and its non denali brother are more than just looks.

The 2005 gmc yukon denali also has an improved v8 engine. Just how much improved do you ask? Well, the beefed up v8 engine cranks out 320+ hp and about 360+ lbs of torque. What does that mean in laymans terms? Well, it means that the yukon denalis can haul over 8000 pounds of whatever, thats over 4 tons! Just how much of an improvement is that over the regular gmc yukons? Well, the standard 2005 gmc yukon only pumps out about 285 hp with its v8 engine, which is still pretty good. As far as towing with the regular gmc yukon, you will only get away with hauling about 7500 pounds.

And yes of course, all these wonderful differences on the 2005 gmc yukon denali do come with a price difference. In my opinion, it is worth every penny. Even if the denali version of the gmc yukon didnt come with the difference in power, I would say the looks alone would be worth it. Like I said before, If you have ever seen a 2005 gmc yukon denali, then you know exactly what I am talking about. And like I have said before, the reason I like the 2005 model of the yukon denali is because I think the newer models are really ugly. I believe the newer looking models started with the 2007 gmc yukon denali. Not a big fan of those.

In a nutshell, if you have the extra money to drop on the 2005 gmc yukon denali, then I say do. You will be very happy with your purchase, because gmc does make a wonder suv. Gmc suvs, from what I have gathered, last quite a while, and dont require too many parts and replacements. And the nice thing about the 2005 gmc denalis is that you can usually find a really good deal at your local gmc dealerships. You can go online to find your gmc dealerships near you, and can probably even find the yukon denali you want online at their website.
